I’m delighted to announce a new disc of my music, performed by the amazing Explore Ensemble and released on the legendary Another Timbre label.
The programme is a sequence of recent chamber music from 2016-20, not conceived initially as a set, but sharing numerous ideas and preoccupations in common.

We recorded this in between lockdowns in November 2020 – a wonderful week, working with such talented and deeply imaginative and sympathetic players at the end of a crappy year. The music is already spacious and dreamy, but I hear it especially so when I play the disc now, remembering the contrast with the world around as we made it.
